We're just quite away from Diwali. Much expected Annaatthe & Maanadu is already on the cards for the Diwali release. Superstar Rajinikanth & Atman Silambarasan Fans are super excited to celebrate both movies in theaters. If the government allows 100 percent seat occupancy, definitely it's going to be a blast for the mass audience and families to celebrate their heroes in theaters. Surprisingly Vishal & Arya starring Enemy also opts for a Diwali release (previously planned for Pooja Holiday). Long-Delayed Arun Vijay's Vaa Deal also targeting a theatrical release on Diwali, not sure how many screens they can get all over because of Annaatthe & Maanadu.
Since Annaatthe is produced by Sun Pictures we can guarantee that the film will occupy most of the screens and mostly dominate the overseas release for Tamil Films this Diwali. Even Maanaadu will get decent screens but it's highly doubtful with the recently announced Enemy and Vaa Deal especially if they wanna see a profit. Vaa Deal is a film that should have been locked away or given to an OTT release, not theatrical considering as it's outdated.
It's not only these 4 films that are ready to release we also have the most anticipated, Surya's Jai Bhim that will drop early on Prime Video as Diwali special on November 2. To be honest, fans are a bit disappointed due to its Direct OTT release. Kollywood Industry itself is surprised with the title itself and looking forward to its release. However, 2D productions have decided to go with Amazon Prime Video.
Cinema Scroll wishing all a very Happy Diwali in advance & an entertainment ride of movies this festival season with all safety precautions.
