This Diwali we happened to witness 4 films from Kollywood which consisted of 2 direct OTTs & 2 theatre releases.

Jai Bhim

Where to Watch: Amazon Prime Video

Jai Bhim is a powerful, hard-hitting courtroom drama with good dialogues & authentic performance from the whole cast. Sean Rolden's BG score & songs were neat. It does have some flaws, but the core idea makes this film a must-watch.

MGR Magan

It doesn't feel like a Ponram film in any aspect. They didn't even get into the content properly. Bunch of talents in half balked character role. It's a surprise if it's liked by B & C center audience. Watch it at your own risk, if you've more data to exhaust.

Annaatthe

Film looks grand in so many aspect be it casting, be it music, be it production values, But it isn't the same with story, direction, screenplay! Annatthe is an Outdated story with ungrippy screenplay with rich production values!

Performance wise Rajini saves the film, All other artists have been exaggerated it and made it look like a serial! Few serial flavoured BGM's could have been avoided. Run time makes it even more hard to stick to the film! A High budget clumsy serial.

Enemy

Enemy is a fast paced action film with neat performances from everyone.

The core story is really good but the unwanted songs and the lagging second half makes this one an average film.
